PPA Cheer program participates in Bexley Parade

On July 4, 2023 the PPA's Cheerleading program participated in the Fourth of July parade in Bexley. This was the first year that the Cheerleading program was able to participate in a parade. The cheerleaders had a wonderful time. The Bexley residents cheered them on while they walked through the streets of Bexley. PPA cheerleaders were able to show off their skills as they marched through the streets of Bexley. It was a great experience for both the cheerleaders, and the PPA Head Cheer coach, Coach Davis. One cheerleader, Camille Smith stated that “she loved it, and she hopes to be able to do it again. ”Coach Davis would like to thank the parents for letting their cheerleaders participate in the Bexley parade and for donating water and snacks. Coach Davis would like to also thank the city of Bexley for inviting us to celebrate Independence Day. Lastly, Coach Davis would like to give thanks to the parents of cheerleader Salina Ross, Sharese Williams, for being able to use their truck during the parade. We hope this is the start of a tradition that will be held throughout many years.
