We are very excited to announce that for the first time, Patriot will be preparing both breakfast and lunch meals in-house! Construction on the cafeteria began over Spring Break last school year and was completed over the summer. In addition to creating a larger eating area, we added a milk cooler, hot and cold serving stations, checkout counters, pass through refrigerator, additional refrigerators, warmers, combi oven, convection oven, additional dry storage, and a walk-in freezer. Not only will this allow us to serve more quality food to our students but will give us the ability to customize our menus to our students!
We will be running a full-service kitchen under the director of Ms. Marisa Seitz, RDN, LD who is our new Food Service Director. With her will be our returning lunch ladies of over 10 years - Mrs. Dancho, Mrs. Poland, and Mrs. Raftery - along with a few new faces - Mrs. Ashley, Ms. Mahmood, and Ms. Paschal.
Patriot is still participating in the National School Breakfast Program (SBP) and National School Lunch Program (NSLP) this school year. All students are eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch throughout the school year, regardless of income status. However, a free/reduced lunch application must be filled out
online
