Elementary Literacy Night
Last night, we held a Family Literacy Night for our K-5 students. Stations were located around the school where students could practice letter sounds, create bookmarks, hear guest readers, read with flashlights, follow a story trail, and catch flying pancakes. In addition, we gave away 500 books to over 120 students. We had close to 400 in attendance and there were over 1000 pancakes made (and tossed)! Most importantly, there were countless smiles from our students and families.
