Chromebook and School Packet Pickup

Parents,

With the most recent order from the Ohio Department of Health and the Governor's Office, we have decided to move up our pick-up time to Monday from noon to 8pm.  We have specific instructions per grade level, please see those below:

  • K-2nd - Weekly instructional packets will be prepared by the teachers and mailed home on Tuesday.
  • 3rd-5th - Weekly instructional packets and online learning will be used, but will vary per teacher.  If you do not have a desktop, laptop, chromebook, etc. available to your child on a daily basis, please stop by tomorrow from Noon-8pm to sign out a chromebook. You may pick up your child's weekly packet at this time, but we will mail home any packets that are not picked up tomorrow.
  • 6th-8th - Instruction will be delivered in an online format, but our 6th-7th grade will need to pick up their math binder.  If you do not have a desktop, laptop, chromebook, etc. available to your child on a daily basis, please stop by tomorrow from Noon-8pm to sign out a chromebook.
  • 9th-12th - Instruction will be delivered in an online format and your child has already been issued a chromebook.
Students will daily medication in the building - if your child takes medication daily while at school or you are in need of the medication we have for them at PPA, please stop by and pick it up tomorrow from Noon-8pm.

All parents will receive additional communication via email from their child's teacher on Tuesday in preparation for Wednesday, our first day of distance learning.  Future instructional packets will be mailed home on a weekly or biweekly basis, please contact the office if you have moved since the beginning of the school year to verify your mailing address.

We ask that you only come by the school if you are feeling well, fever free, and haven't been exposed to someone who potentially has the coronavirus.  If you are not healthy, please speak with a friend or family member to pick up the items for you.  Secondly, we ask that you leave your children at home if at all possible so that the total number of visitors to the school will be reduced. All visitors will be required to enter by the front office and antibacterial upon arrival.  You will proceed down the hallway to the cafe to pick-up/sign out items accordingly and then leave from the back of the cafeteria.

Monday from Noon to 8pm is the only scheduled time to pick up these items.  Parents are NOT permitted before noon on Monday.

We greatly appreciate your continued trust, support, and patience as we all adjust to our current health crisis and school closure.

Thank you for being an amazing parent and/or guardian!

Sincerely,

Mr. Sean Smith
Superintendent
